I'd have to agree. How often do you see a euph play that low?
I remembered someone here (was it you?) once asked when players really use the low comp-register, and they all seemed to say "when playing tuba parts"
This is really funny, because I just got finished telling someone, that I feel the Yamaha-321 is easily (lower) pro-quality, especially if it has a larger leadpipe/reciever. And Besson labels the 765 as "pro-quality minus the weight of the compensating system", and the add in Brasswind says "Truly a professional instrument at an intermediate instrument's price"-which was also my top choice when I was trying euphs out.
I've noticed in the years, that many semipro and intermediate instruments seems to be built with the quality of a pro instrument, minus "pro features", in this case, compensating valve.
