My wife is not good at math, and she's the one who buys the lottery tickets. She insists that we will someday win, so I check with her each time I see a tuba I want but can't justify cleaning out the savings account to buy.
I never buy lottery tickets, partly because of the math, but mostly because I don't like government using the promise of instant wealth as an inducement to bilking us for more money that they don't spend wisely. I spent three years designing a traffic signal system in Las Vegas, and got my fill of that enterprise.
But if she wins, I will happily share in the winnings. I can be bought, heh, heh.
