Well after all the talk about the Audio Technica AT-822 microphone I had to see for myself. I found it here in Japan for the great price of 24,000yen which comes in at under$200 with the current exchange rate! It's made here so that explains the cheaper price than the states. I recorded my BQ last night and it is MUCH cleaner than the two upper end Sony mics I own. I highly recommend this mic to anyone in the market. I also have the newer Sony MD RX909 (I think) and to two compliment eachother very nicely.
