I have seen that using a deep cup on some horns can make the high register flat. I had an F tuba that was like that. The pitch was really effected by that mouthpiece. Like the other post , I have a N cup and R cup. They both are nice mps. I have never played on a T cup, but man the R cup for me is a pretty big. I cannot imagine the T cup. You should talk to Doug Elliott about your horn, mouthpiece combo and trying different back-bores (shanks) to fix your problem.
