Declaring what a lip gliss is would stretch my vocabulary and probably the limits of a posting a bit. Very short: a gliss (short for: glissando) is a smooth shift of pitch with no perceptible steps. A lip gliss is done solely by means of the lips as opposed to the slide gliss known from the trombone.
2nd partial Eb is the one an octave above pedal Eb (which is considered to be the 1st partial).
