Never done a rodeo, but I've done other casual gigs when i was in jazz band in community college. At least once a concert we would mutiny and play "Barbara Ann" no matter what the selection was, and we'd take it as fast as the drummer could keep up. Trumpets would scream an octave above written, saxes would rip out some solos, the bass trombone would register on the Richter scale, and somehow the 1st trombone part would make it's way to my stand. To this day I don't see how we all passed that semester. Looking back it was probably a childish thing to do.
