I went to my Tuba lesson and in the process of warming up my rotory valve linkage came apart. Luckly it was for my fourth valve, and as I am an electrician, I had some tape in my pocket to hold it open and the hanging linkage out of the way. I played my lesson with just the remaining three valves. ( OH the pain of it!) So what kind of tool kit should I have for general maintence and what should I carry with me one the road. Please include piston valve tools and spare parts that I should keep on hand.
