For a performance that shows off the brass, The CSO '88 recording is stunning. If you want to hear the piece with more of an Ensemble concept, any of the Von Karajan, BPO recordings on DG will be good. My personal favorite is Karajans recording made in 1975. It is on DG and has to be one of the most balanced productions of this work ever recorded. It is available as a DG mid-priced cd. Enjoy.
