The 1970's Miraphones are the only horns they ever made that didn't suck. I played Daves horn at the Interlochen Summer Music Camp and was very suprised considering it was a Miraphone. The valves are vented and the first valve slide is easily adjustable. This is a great begging CC horn or a quintet horn. It is a little large for solo work but all in all, it is a great horn well worth the money.
