I am not a fan of this horn. It's a little too small for me. The sound is also fairly bright when compared to other tubas. I think you can do better for the same or a little less money. It's a great quintet horn (after all it was made for Chuch Dellenbach) but I really think a bigger horn is more suited for a large ensemble. My humble opinion, not intended to bash any player of this instrument, it just doesn't work for me.
