Here in holland where I live the system is a bit different then in the states
You go to a conservatory to get your "masters", but it is only music related there, and totally pointed at educating to be a pro player
You are supposed to bring your own horns, the school does not proveide anything, except maybe a loan. I bought a HB2P when I studied there, ad that has serverd me well.
This was 15 years ago.
I became a computer specialist since then, and make much more money now, and started playing top level again, and now own a st. pete, for wind band and symfonic use, a 3/4 B&S
for emergency use (when another horn is in the repair shop) and a B&H souvereign Bb tuba for British style brasband use. The st.pete I bought myself a year ago from frieder.
