Hey guys, just a question on mouthpieces and low end ... again...
I'm playing Yamaha YCB-822 with a standard Conn Helleburg. I have some problems with the low end past low A. I've been recommended to get a larger mouthpiece to help, and hearing that the Miraphone (orchestral) Rose is a lot like a large Helleburg, I was wondering you anyone here would say that sounds like a logical switch.
I was also thinking of one of the PTs, I think it was the PT-48 came up as a possible recommendation from a friend.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I prefer the sound that the Funnel MPC produce
If anyone else has any recommendations, I would appreciate it. I'm probably going to be calling the BrassWind soon and order a few to try
