You shouldn't have to come to a bbs like this for this problem. It's up to the orchestra, it's librarian, and it's administration to provide each player with their designated parts. They are your first resort. Hold them to their responsibility. I once had to do this in a professional situation with an inexperienced and defensive librarian, in a rather complex piece by Morton Gould with antiphonal brass. People will do what they have to do if you insist.
