Hey Tom, that's quite a baratone! You're right, it looks like a Cazzani, but I don't recognise the name in the auction description. Are there any other identifying marks on it? The inscription could be a maker's mark, but very likely the importer or selling agent in the US stamped it. Those enclosed drum springs look like turn of the century to me, and I'll bet it's loaded with German silver trim. Is it in BBb or CC? What a great find! Be sure to post some pictures for us when you get it reassembled.
