Last I read, they went back to work the weekend after the last long thread on the TubeNet about the strike. As I understand it(this is third hand information, so please let me know if I'm wrong), the Orchestra Board agreed to talk with them about the contract over the following few weeks while they went back to work, instead of cancelling the whole season. The news articles I read were really slanted in the board's favour, making it out as a money issue, and portraying the musicians as greedy and unthankful. I had a friend forward me about 20 articles, and only ONE of them even mentioned the contract issue concerning easy firings. It's really a shame what kind of power politics have over everything in this country today.
