Western Michigan University is accepting applications for professor of tuba/euphonium NOW!!!! Just an inside scoop, but the canidate will probably be chosen around the beginning of spring semester 2001, but will not start until fall 2001; so get your resume in soon.
Also... there will be a Graduate Assitantship in tuba/euph also avialable at the same time. Don't wait.
The outgoing faculty member is Professor Robert Whaley, an exceptional teacher and musician; who I beleive, has been here for 25+ years. We are all sorry to see him retire after his outstanding service to the university.
