I was looking closely at the Besson 765 you mentioned. It was my early favorite, before I saw the fourth valve was on the side. I'm frightened by the side-action valve. I'm used to having all four valves in a row, and not having to do anything at all with my other hand. I'm stopping by our local music store tomorrow. Hopefully they'll have something I can feel and listen to available, but I'm not all that certain I'll get to see anything with the 765-style fourth valve. Is there any drawback or benefit from the positioning of the 765's valve beside the Besson name and the reputation that comes with it?
