I've seen lots of posts on mouthpieces, but nothing on wooden mouthpieces. I know that they are out there. (For example, Maurice Benterfa makes them for most brass intruments, including tuba.) But I have no idea how they would sound. I'm guessing smooth and dark, perhaps too dark. I'm guessing it would be like switching a metal bridge on an electric guitar with a wooden one (which I've done). Any experience with such things? Marc
