I am currently living in Naples, Italy and am desperate to buy a "new" tuba. I have been in contact with several businesses in the states, and they have been very helpful. However, I still have reservations about dumping a large chunk of change on a new horn that I have never had the opportunity to play on before. No matter how much advice you get, or how much someone might love a certain horn, you still need to try it out for yourself ... just to make sure. So, does anyone know or has anyone heard of any kind of shop in Italy that would have numermous horns on stock to play and choose from? I will also be near Frankfurt during Christmas time so any shops up in Germany would be a possibility as well. Thanks in advance.
