Ok, this is probably going to sound like a really, REALLY stupid question, but, I often see posts on here that refer to CC tubas, C tubas, BBflat tubas, Bflat tubas, EEflat and Eflat tubas, etc......... My question is, are the CC and C tubas the same, or is the C pitched an octave up? Same thing with the Bflat's and Eflats. Or is this just some way of writing the abbreviation shorthand? Your replies would be appreciated.
