Rich Mateyko, who is a recruiter for the Do-It-Yourself Sousa Band each June in Mt. Prospect, IL, (and whose photograph with Gene Pokorny at that event was featured in the TUBA Journal a couple of years ago) has a Conn 20J with bright red lacquer on the inside of its 24" forward bell.
