What's the opinion out there on the Hirsbrunner HB2P? I have the option of picking one up for relativly cheap (for a Hirsbrunner it's cheap). I know Hirsbrunner are the "prize gem" of the tuba world but are they really worth the extra cost? Are they manufactured pretty consistently. I mean do you really have to pull slides all the time because the intonation is a little off. The few guys I've seen play them pull their first valve slide all the time. On my horn right now I don't have to pull slides until I hit extreme registers. I guess the only reason why I am considering a new horn is I need an easier blowing horn. The one I have now is quite constricted no matter what I have done to it.
