I have to share that I've really enjoyed and learned a lot from the BBS. Without the possibility of taking lessons, it is a really important source of information. I first came upon the BBS in August, when we finally bought a computer good enough to negotiate the web. Since then it has been fun to link names with places, schools, occupations etc., and have a couple of my own questions answered. Maybe you could get a better feeling for the BBS by browsing the archives- mostly very positive, occasionally not. Focus on what is helpful to you, let go of the rest! :)
