Ferrari: flashy, quick, gets the babes/dudes... but, temperamental, expensive parts, usually not practical.
Volkswagen: not flashy, not quick (without modification), doesn't get the babes/dudes... but, reliable enough, parts are easy to get, and it is more useful.
Depends on your priorities, I guess!
