I am a BBb player now. For years I played Alex CC's until I found a BBb that gave ME the sound I wanted. I question the cutting of a horn that was built to specific parameters. Honestly, for every good cut job I have played, I have played 3 that have been bad. Are we doing justice to the horns by cutting them up? I can't question the idea behind it, but my contention still, and always will be, with so many GREAT CC's being made, way cut and take your chances. Please don't take these comments as an attack, they are purely rhetorical questions.
