The 3301/3301 is, in a way, a mix between German and American concepts. What I like about my 3302 is that it has the response of a top-shelf CC (plays almost exactly like a PT-4 or PT-6), with good intonation, and still the kind of sound that's associated often with BBb's.
Leon's recommendation to dampen vibration surprised me, though -- it vibrates much, much less than, for example, the 822 Yamaha or my friend's Mirafone 186. Hey, whatever works, though!
