Just curious, but did you have problems with your 1295? I tried one out a little while ago and I couldn't even fit my fingers on the valves--they were too spread apart. As far as the intonation, it was no where near as good as my PT-4P (from where this thread has stemmed from, that is very ironic for me to say).
The reason I ask these questions is because I liked Miraphone horns until I switched to my horn. Previously I had played on a 186. I was willing to give miraphones a second chance but then I tried the 1295 and I was turned off form these horns again. However, I think I'm giving them a 3rd chance when the 1291 comes out (that is if I can fit my fingers on the pistons).
