I have a BBb King helicon wirth U.S.Q.M. on it. It was built in 1921. I've never checked it for pitch, but I play it regularly in bands and it sounds fine. In fact, I own a King sousa, a King tuba and a Yamaha tuba, as well as an old Conn Eb tuba, and I think I might just like the sound of my helicon the best of them all.
