Wonder if a gang of tuba thieves is moving into the neighborhood then.
Up until the sheriff caught up with them about a year ago, a gang used to steal Toyotas out of a local mall's parking lot, drive 'em up into the hills and strip 'em (mostly wheels and stereo) and leave the car propped up on the jack and the spare in my back driveway. Always Toyotas and always just the wheels. I got to know the sheriff's deputies really well.
Maybe I should start looking out for valveless Werils in my back driveway now...
