The CD is entitled "Marcel Tabuteau's Lessons" and distributed on the Boston Records label (#BR1017CD). Tabuteau played Principal Oboe in the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1915-1953 and taught at Curtis Institute form 1924-1953. One of the staples of his teaching methods was a numbering system he developed to represent tonal intensity and dynamics in phrasing. This CD is available through Amazon at the link below. It takes a while to get used to his heavy French accent, but the substance of his teachings is phenomenal!
