Well, that's interesting. I sent the seller and email asking a few questions, since it looks like it's missing one of the valve buttons (the middle one) but otherwise doesn't look that bad.

Might be worth a little bidding to see what happens!
I've already got one horn (186) but having a piston valve horn to fiddle around with might be fun, and I've got a high school band son who might find it interesting to play with it, although he hasn't been interested in tubas so far. More a reed guy, although they gave him a trombone for jazz band and told him last night that they have the same gig in mind for him for marching season this fall.

He played euphonium last fall, though, so there wouldn't be much of a transition for him to pick this up if he's interested.
