Other than the missing 5th valve and other niggles, I don't think that you would find much difference in quality,intonation, and sound between my goldbrass 187 and a similar goldbrass 188. Of course, each horn differs, but Miraphone has two markets to deal with when it comes to pro horns, so it would be incredibly hard to skimp on the BBb quality levels. Again, there is also the fact that there is no guarantee that you will sound better on a CC horn.
