You should check the archives because this has been discussed quite a bit. Anyway, I've played both the PCK and PCM at Lowbrasswerks in Campbell, Ca. If the PCK isn't a 6/4 tuba (I think it is), then it's a very large 5/4. Even the PCM is a good size machine. Tony Clements has a hand picked Yorkbrunner - the best one that I've ever tooted on. The PCK was almost as good as that particular Yorkbrunner, but for a lot less money. The PCK is a very wide instrument, so you might want to consider a playing stand with it. However, Tony and I played duets, and he used the PCK with it resting on the edge of the chair with little or no problems. If the PCM isn't a full 5/4 tuba, then it's a pretty big 4/4. Both models are excellent, I feel. Anyway, the PCK lived up to the motto about good 6/4 tubas: four quarters in, six quarters out.
