Did you read the last paragraph? The "theoretical reconstruction" offered by the author is intended to provided to suggest a motive or context for his anti-Semitism. A context, which the author CLEARLY states, provides neither sympathy nor "justification. If you want to give him both, don't cite this author as being on your source, as he speaks to the point directly, and to the contrary.
I guess there's a lesson to be learned here...spend you're life publishing hatred, and it really doesn't matter what you confess to your loved ones at the end of your years. The damage is done, and history may hold you to an account...even if you composed wonderful music. That seems fair to me.
