That is strange I experienced the exact opposite pressure release. My DOE release seemed like it had more built up pressure and the TOE was less intrusive and held less pressure. Perhaps the difference can be explained by taking into account the differences between a note started from silence and one which immediatelly followed a preceding not such as the notes in the middle of a played scale.
