Philip Sparke's "Two-Part Invention" was written for two euphoniums and band. Steve Mead and I performed it back in February on the concert at WKU when he was here. It's quite difficult and loads of fun to play, especially with Steve Mead! It really is a great piece. There aren't many Sparke pieces that aren't great pieces!
