I have an interview soon for a general brass (from absolute beginners) instructor job.

A favourite question of interview panels regards any NEW thinking in ways and means of teaching brass.
This may include techniques/strategies for Group Teaching (probably no more than 4 of 'like' pitched insts - Tpt&Baritone etc) and also choice of repertoire for beginners and for the group teaching - Particularly in terms of Pupils progressing at differing rates.
Equally, they may be interested about ideas for more gifted pupils.

I obviously have my own ideas (all fairly tried and tested) but does anyone have ideas they think aren't in common use or could be described as 'new'....?

Suppose the question is "What constitutes a good Brass teacher for beginners?".

Thank-you!
