My boosters just constructed one for me and I love it. They used 3/4 inch plywood and made a square frame with two sides hinged together and the other corners with a split hinge (two halves slide together over a fixed pin). Then the lid is simple a box-topp design. They also made bracing for the inside of the box as an interlocking X (much like a waterbed frame). It is light and assembles in under a minute.
