Hello everyone. I am pleased (and, of course, a little disappointed) to announce that the Triton Brass Quintet took the silver medal at the 30th Annual Fischoff International Chamber Music Competition at Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN this past weekend. Our repertiore included Etler's Quintet, Jan Bach's "Laudes," Arutunian's "Armenian Scenes," and 3 Monteverdi Madrigals arranged by Triton trumpeter, Steve Banzaert. We played extremely well, especially in the Semi-final round, and owe many thanks to the individuals who took time out of their busy schedules to help us prepare for the competition:
