So, it would be interesting to create efficieny parameter lists for tubas in analogy to the miles-per-gallon efficiency attributes of cars.
However, since I think, the buzz input energy cannot disappear (in other words can't be absorbed by the horn), the "heavy duty" rotary BATs - once being pepped up by a strong player - maybe project a big sound over a longer distance; therefore such an efficiency list should take the fade of sound per 100 ft. in consideration - in (another) analogy to ballistic bullet speed decrease (v0, v100, v200 ... etc.), right?
If so, I wonder how all the most popular tubas would be positioned on such a projection-in-relation-to-efficiency list.
