Thanks for the reply. To answer your question, there is a section in the survey that asks if you have ever experienced speech stuttering, which should apply to all who take the survey. Also keep in mind that most people who stutter are not brass players, so there are certainly plenty of people who stutter who haven't experienced this problem. Finally, it's not just the physical process of the valsalva maneuver that I'm interested in, but also trying to make the connection of the mental process of "stuttering".
