This tuba was indeed built for the euro' market and was purchased by a previous owner in the UK. The raw brass is original as far as I can tell and I like it that way! It has had some very clean dent repair work on the bottom bow and upper bow, and I have needed to have some braces resoldered over the years and new valve-springs installed, but I don't see evidence of major suffering......it is a solid user.

I exchanged emails with the good folks at B&S some years ago and they claim to have only produced around 20 instruments in this style.

It continues to be a fun horn with a great sound that will always be patiently waiting for me to improve my playing abilities another notch.
