Does this not bother anyone else?

Music is CULTURE! It is part of what defines a society. Surely we cannot allow music to be treated with the same trickery used to sell every fad product (blind generosity indeed!) that pops on the market. If music as culture is indeed a means of expression of a people, then money invested in music is an investment in one's self. An investment in one's self should never be allowed to be tossed out on garbage day with the 1000's of miracle car waxes or "never-dull" knives that never worked but you were tricked into buying.
