GOOD music is best appreciated live. The best musicians will survive off their live shows. (those that can't generally don't deserve to) In terms of classical music, this means that perhaps the recording industry might suffer a bit from file-sharing (although this remains to be seen), but any drought in quality recorded music will only fuel demand for live music, which has always been the orchestra's bread and butter.
