The cup of the R&S II is much like the Schilke Helleberg II, but the rim is more rounded and comfortable. I bought one several months ago to help control the excessive body vibration of a Cerveny 601, and it helped quite a bit. I didn't stick with it, though, because its characteristic tone changed my sound in a way that I didn't like. Lately, though, I've begun to use it a bit again with my King 2341 because I like the feel, though the extra weight doesn't seem to affect the tone or behavior of the King any.
