This may not be terribly relevant, but when I fell down with a sousaphone and had one of my teeth quickly and cheaply relocated to my upper jaw, it only took about two weeks before I was able to play agai (the doctor advised 6). But if I were you I would use this opportunity to stick to the tubas and avoid the sousaphonews for a while. Hope you feel better soon.
