These are both really good horns. The Conn, being more American in style, is a bit more free blowing than the Meinl Weston, but that's not saying that the 2145 isn't a good horn. You should try both of them out, they're really fantastic. I prefer the Conn however, it felt better to me than the 2145, but it was really close.
