Yes,call Matt at Dillon Music.The water lays in that crook immediately after the fourth valve on mine,old as well as new,then there's anotherwhole loop before the loop with the spit valve.The guy who was selling his lacquered one to buy an old Holton hog had Matt add a spit valve on one of those bottom crooks.I prefer to just spin it myself but I've been playing Kings forthe last twenty five years.EdF
