Call me crazy, but I seem to remember a plan calling for ITEC's to occur every two years, alternating between US and international. Sopporo in 90, KY in 92...these had great attendence. I think KY had 500-700 registered. 98 in Minnesota had around 300. Doing ITEC every year cheapens it, makes it not such a big deal, and attendence drops because its not that big of a deal. College professors get so caught up in what hosting an ITEC can do for their careers, that TUBA(ITEA) has been supporting this every year scheme despite its downfall. Whats good for the college community is not always good for the rest. Spread out the ITEC's, and encourage more Army conferences like the one that is struggling in GA.
