I haven't played either one, so I can't help you there.
But, I heard a performance on a MW 2155 just last night at the UW Tuba Studio Recital. If you decide for financial reasons that the 2155 makes more sense, don't worry about not being able to get great sound out of it. I can assure you, out front in the audience, the MW 2155 can sound absolutely beautiful.
